Live webinar held by the UKFPO introduces SCRIPT to the new cohort of Foundation doctors

12th September 2024

At the beginning of August, a new cohort of Foundation Year 1 doctors begin their training, marking the start of their medical careers. To support Foundation doctors, the UK Foundation Programme Office (UKFPO) holds several live webinars throughout the year. The first webinar for the new cohort was held on 21st August 2024 and introduced trainees to SCRIPT and the importance of safe prescribing. SCRIPT Editorial Manager, Hannah Vallance, provided trainees with an overview of the SCRIPT Programme and how users can effectively utilise the eLearning platform to supplement their training. Hannah also discussed the relevant SCRIPT modules that can be used to prepare for the Prescribing Safety Assessment (PSA) for those who are yet to sit the exam.

To see the webinar in full, please visit the UKFPO webinars webpage. All UK Foundation doctors and NHS staff have free access to SCRIPT; if you are a Foundation doctor and have not previously registered with SCRIPT, please follow the link here to get started: https://foundation.safeprescriber.org/login.
