Nursing SCRIPT access is free to West Midlands NHS Nurses

11th August 2017

Nursing SCRIPT aims to improve nurses’ knowledge and confidence in all aspects of medication management and optimisation. Commissioned by the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network, the resource is free for all qualified nurses and midwives working in the NHS. Licensed access is also available for other regions and nursing schools.

Sixteen modules cover a range of topics including the principles of medicines management, managing risks related to medication use, and specific therapeutic topics, including anticoagulation, infection, and pain management. Each module is around 60 minutes in length and nurses can download a certificate on completion, which can be used as evidence of CPD for revalidation purposes.
