Important Drug Safety Update from the MHRA on Valproate and pregnancy

The MHRA have issued new guidance stating that Valproate medicines (Epilim▼, Depakote▼) are contraindicated in women and girls of childbearing potential unless a Pregnancy Prevention Programme is in place.
