SCRIPT is quoted in a new academic paper

9th May 2023

A recent publication (Roberts, Jaam, Paudyal and Hadi, 2023) has recommended the use of SCRIPT eLearning modules to help independent prescribing pharmacists stay up-to-date and reduce their risk of knowledge-based errors.

The study interviewed 14 pharmacist independent prescribers to find out their views and experiences of prescribing errors, and strategies to reduce errors occurring. Pharmacist independent prescribers reported that one strategy to reduce their risk of making a prescribing error was by keeping their knowledge up-to-date through continuing professional development (CPD). The SCRIPT eLearning programme was suggested as one way of achieving this.

With over 125 modules, the SCRIPT eLearning programme provides resources for all healthcare professionals to enable them to use medicines safely in their practise.
