PRESCRIBER READY PORTFOLIO: NINTH MODULE TO GO LIVE

10th September 2025

‘Antihyperglycaemics’ is the latest module to join the Prescriber Ready portfolio. This module explores, in detail, the seven main classes of antihyperglycaemic agents used in the management of type 1 and 2 diabetes. The module describes the pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of each class, their side effect profiles, and main counselling points for people taking these medicines. The module applies the knowledge of pharmacology to develop practical approaches to the management of diabetes.
